80mm Orangatang Kegel Longboard Wheels
The Orangatang Kegel is a large core, large diameter race wheel. Standing at a massive 80mm tall by 56mm wide, this wheel will roll over anything and power down mountains as fast and as grippy as a F1 car.
The Kegel also uses the same "happy" urethane that you know and love from the Orangatang 4President's and In Heat's.
These wheels are definitely proven to preform. They have put riders in top positions in the IGSA, and IDF race circuits.
The Kegel is your ticket to high-speed steamroller action and the obliteration of a variety of small mammals. The large 80mm diameter generates high roll speeds while a moderate width of 56 mm allows for a versatile balance of traction and slide response. A cantilevered outer lip with a straight profile is pliable enough to hug the road for grip while also ensuring consistent performance as the wheel wears. The shorter inner lip features a subtle inward bevel for race-worthy traction and predictable drifts.
A fully-exposed 46mm core with a deep “valley”-shaped cross section reduces weight while providing good acceleration, lots of momentum, and crisp slides. This core uses the same high-strength, high-stiffness, and heat-resistant material we developed and use in the entire Orangatang product line.
The Kegel is poured in our Happy urethane formula. Tested and proven over the years in our 75mm In Heat and 70mm 4President race wheels, Happy thane has the ideal blend of grip, buttery slide consistency, and vibration damping for controllable and intuitive downhill performance.

Nice grip with skin, Gets icy once wornBy YungSteezy on 2020-10-09
Some of my fav wheels, I noticed once you get rid of the skin they break out a little easier and the smaller you get them the longer they slide. Hookups always feel great no matter what you do to em. Overall if you have experience these feel really consistent. would recommend.

Very nice grip and look
80a kegels are fabulousBy Ian on 2017-04-03 Verified Purchase
These are my first downhill oriented wheel and I have to say these are outstanding they're butter smooth once broken in which took just a few slides. The hookup was very nice seemed like it pulled you back in and didn't have you slide for very long. All in all nothing bad to say consider looking at these for a downhill wheel
Fav Maryhill Wheels!By Robskey on 2017-03-24
That sums it up, but yes definitely have had more runs on these Orange Kegels at Maryhill than any other wheel. Love them for the best grip and longest lasting grip compared to other similar wheels like the Centrax or Cannibals. I've clocked in over 20 runs on one set without noticing a bit of slip or loss of speed. All other wheels begin to do those things after 10 runs or less at Mary.
Amazeballs!By Brandon Fancher on 2017-01-23 Verified Purchase
These wheels are awesome, and they do, in fact, roll for days. I had another pair of 83mm flywheels on my board, but it just seemed like I was having to work too hard to push around town. I replaced with these and holy smokes, what a difference! They do suck in the rain though. I nearly broke my ass as soon as I tried to carve a little in the rain. Worth every penny tho.

Kegels on IcarusBy skydog on 2016-07-18 Verified Purchase
I went with the 83a on my Icky to better match my weight and perhaps give me an earlier slide.
80a KegelsBy Zach Geitner on 2016-01-28
Kegels are an amazing wheel if you are looking to buy a "do it all" wheel. Fresh Kegels will grip pretty well, but once you break them in, they can feel buzzy through some corners. I would personally recommend breaking them in and never taking them off of your board. They are very buttery and have a consistent and controllable slide. You can hold good lines with them, and they have a great roll speed. Slides are a breeze on Kegels, especially the 83a. I will definitely be buying another set once I finish off my current set.
First time learning on orangatang 80mm 80a wheelsBy TrickyTriggs on 2015-08-15
My first time riding on these wheels were extremely smooth. When I started to break them in while learning to slide for the first time it was very grippy but got the job done. When they got really worn in they were beautiful and would recommend. They work as expected.
