only the second set of longboard wheels I've owned (first are butterballs) although a lot harder duro than the butterballs, they feel about the same for getting them to lose grip for slowish speed checks, can't speak for higher speeds... but when carving/turning they definitely hold the speed much better for me (I'm on the heavier side 200+ lbs, so lighter guys might not notice this effect so much) the butterballs tend to drag/slow me when initiating a turn, the tangs glide right into the turn. Definitely helps the board feel more stable when trying any balancing tricks. Happy with these wheels for sure :)
