Blood Orange's Description
Liam Morgan Pro Series - High Performance Slide Wheels -
The Look & Formula
Straight from the brain of team rider Liam Morgan, one of the top freeride skaters in the world, we bring you 3 new shapes, with one bitchin' new look...
In designing the LMF "Liam Morgan formula," Liam was looking for 3 things:
1. A Sugary Slide
- Nobody wants an icy wheel, nor do they want a grippy freeride wheel that chatters and bounces. This formula is all about the smooth, consistent and predictable (otherwise known as) "sugary slide".
2. Long Thick Thane Lines
- The urethane needed to paint long, thick, white thane lines on the pavement. Pros and groms alike, love to see thane lines and track their progression. This thane doesn't disappoint.
3. Wheels to Cover Every Occasion
- Liam's an all around skater, and he wanted wheels for everything he does, without sacrificing either of the first two requirements.
Inside every wheel in the lineup is a big, wide "saddle core" which provides extra support to keep the wheel stable while sliding... giving you a longer more predictable slide.

First time riding these Blood Orange Morgan Pro wheels, and my downhill freeride game is much improved. They provide just the right balance between control and chaos. The forgiving durometer of 80a has helped me crush all obsticles. Gravel, beware!

Good buttery slide but has a lot of stopping power compared to most freeride wheels

quality so fun
Pure granulated sugarBy Austin B. on 2017-09-09
82a 175 lbs. These wheels are really fire once used for a bit. At first they seemed sort of chalky. Then for a bit they were almost too slidey (albiet i did change decks). Once in that sweet spot on a good top mount... oh boy just consistent sugar! It has the control of an in the pavement wheel, but still has a bit of glidey-ness in the slide. Really fun for holding out long standies on corners. I feel like these wheels helped my toeside form as well. And they leave reallly nice lines all over the place. Like everyone else says: "Go faster"! My first time really shredding these, I was surprised just how far a little bit of extra confidence will take you on these. I will say though, I'm not a huge fan of the core. It does it's job, but after the wheel gets warm it gets pretty soft for a core. Next time I'd probably just get the standard white thane to try.

Only reason this wheel gets 4 stars is because of the life going into the wheel. They die quick, but they are sooooo worth it. When I was breaking the wheel in I hated the wheel, it was sticky and I was high siding everywhere. Well after an hour of hating my choice of buying 2 sets of these wheels I met up with these really great skaters and they pushed me to go faster and said "just trust the wheels." Well long story short I trust these wheels more than any other wheel I've riding. There is a hairpin turn that I was going around so fast the my front foot was sliding off the deck some, and I have blood orange extra course. Tomorrow I'm taking the wheels to some crappy pavement and going to test them there too. The slide starts buttery, during the slide its is a mix between butter and sugar(combine a 78a swinger and a 80a cry baby), the hook up is smooth but sometimes it can hook up faster than you think but not enough to through you off this only happens when going slow. BUT IF YOU WANT TO SEE IMPROVEMENT IN YOUR RIDING IN 1 DAY BUY THESE WHEELS, TRUST THESE WHEELS, AND KILL THESE WHEELS!!!!!!!!!! FAST FREERIDE WHEEL, PUSH YOURSELF OR YOU WILL NOT SEE THE WHEELS AT THEIR BEST.
