Description

The Blood Orange Liam Morgan Pro Series wheels are sick! This 70mm version should be your go to wheel for slide jams and downhill freeriding. It's an extremely consistent urethane that will last all the way to the core. It has a very "sugary" slide and give you huge thane lines, even for the little guys. The small supportive core with help keep the wheels even and from icing out. This is the "premiere" wheel in the Liam Morgan Pro Series lineup and is definitely a wheel you're going to want to check out!

Blood Orange's Description

Liam Morgan Pro Series - High Performance Slide Wheels -

The Look & Formula

Straight from the brain of team rider Liam Morgan, one of the top freeride skaters in the world, we bring you 3 new shapes, with one bitchin' new look...

In designing the LMF "Liam Morgan formula," Liam was looking for 3 things:

1. A Sugary Slide

- Nobody wants an icy wheel, nor do they want a grippy freeride wheel that chatters and bounces. This formula is all about the smooth, consistent and predictable (otherwise known as) "sugary slide".

2. Long Thick Thane Lines

- The urethane needed to paint long, thick, white thane lines on the pavement. Pros and groms alike, love to see thane lines and track their progression. This thane doesn't disappoint.

3. Wheels to Cover Every Occasion

- Liam's an all around skater, and he wanted wheels for everything he does, without sacrificing either of the first two requirements.

Inside every wheel in the lineup is a big, wide "saddle core" which provides extra support to keep the wheel stable while sliding... giving you a longer more predictable slide.

Slid down a rough not super steep road and they still kicked out and held the slide amazingly

Pretty wheels. Make sure that if you get these you understand that they won't stay white for long!

Not too good for slow free-ride, or lighter riders (get the softer thane if you're lighter) however this wheel is perfect if you are moving faster and want a wheel that does it all. These wheels are especially good on rough, hackly pavement. Where other wheels will chunk off or flat-spot, these wheels will stay sugary and seldom, if ever, ice out. It's not a beginner free-ride wheel that dumps thane or ices over the pavement (i know the description says it thanes but they just don't for me), so sliding will be more challenging at slow speed, but if you find that your current wheels are not pushing back enough, these will help a lot.
If you are riding low speed you are doing it wrong

First of all dont pay attention to that stoneground, right out of the package this wheels were like rocks but slide by slide gets better and better. Its not a really BIG deal, just a couple slides and they'll reach that sweet spot, and once you get it, its all like a live a dream. I noticed this wheels works better at high speeds, if hold big standies is not your fort, you can be sure that this wheels wont let you down, they are sooo predictable, never iced away on corners but when you want them to do it; they will handle that sugary slide. At high speeds you dont have to complain, this wheels will follow you; you control them. Mine are 70mm for extra life cause they thane like crazy, you can blow your truck and watch how the thane flys away. Sick wheel for introduce into fasters slides
