65mm Orangatang Fat Free - Freeride Longboard Skateboard Wheels
Videos
Description
The Orangatang Fat Free Longboard Skateboard Freeride Wheel has set the standard in modern freeride longboard wheels. If the Fat Free could handle the demands of a Muirskate Shop rider, it can definitely handle anything you can dish out.
Made of Happy Urethane (Hi-Rebound Urethane) we can say that you will have less worries of getting stuck in cracks and having those small rocks wedge under your wheel bringing you to that instantaneous and unexpected stop.
We have had so much fun charging hills and throwing big slides down big hills in San Diego, it's going to be really hard to find a wheel that matches the predictability into and out of slides like the 86a and 83a Fat Free Freeride wheels.
We are really excited about the longevity and smooth sliding abilities of the Fat Free Freeride longboard slide wheel. Be sure to constantly rotate your wheels though for longer life of the wheel.
We love you Loaded. Send US some for free =)
Orangatang's Description
Designed for Freeriding: Grippy when need with consistent slide characteristics; a good all around wheel.
Offset design and a relatively wide contact patch for grip (although not as grippy as the slalom/carving style of the 4 Presidents). Rounded inner and outer lips with stiff fled for clean slide initiation and smooth, chatter-free slides. Stone ground surface for consistent slides out of the box and more consistent wear over the life of the wheel. 65mm Fat Free Orangatang longboard Freeride wheels are great for smaller boards like minis and slide boards.
Reviews
great wheel!
By Carson Warpula on 2017-12-18
This wheel is my first freeride wheel. I ride the 80a (orange) and love them so much!! They have great performance on every skateboard I own. Very buttery, but they can grip pretty well when you want them to. they don't dump a lot of urathane so they last long. But when they do wear, they don't wear evenly at all. Also I ride in a neighborhood that has bad pavement. They handle the rough road better than my brother's Sector 9 Butterballs, but my wheels grip more too. I still have them, and since I don't slide any faster than 20mph, I'll probably have them forever. Over all, great wheel. If you're looking for an all-round ever-lasting rock eater.
Really good quality
By Every Day Skater on 2017-11-08
Me and my friends have ridden all durometers and we love all of them. The orange 80a are really buttery and leave thane lines. The 83a are really sugary and are a really good all around wheel as well as leave slight thane lines. The 86a are floaty and glide over the pavement, but don't leave thane. 80a where a little quick, the 83a last a little longer, and the 86a last a really long time. overall fun wheel would recommend to someone who has started skating to any experts out there.
Okay better than expected

The 83a Fat Frees were a lot better than expected. From all the reviews of fat frees on YouTube I can say it is very hype based and you should not get caught in the hype. I would not recommend these wheels for your first I would recommend the Lil Hoots rather than these
