169mm Paris Street Skateboard Truck - Visual Baseplate Imperfection
***NOTE: Paris Trucks missed smoothing the bottom of the baseplate leaving 4 visual circles. This is only cosmetic, it does not affect the performance of the truck*** If you are mounting them top-mount, you will never see it, but if you are mounting them drop-thru it will be impossible to hide.
The Paris street truck is designed with hybrid longboard skateboards in mind. These skateboard trucks are ideal for larger double kick skateboards and wheels in the 60-70mm range, depending on the board.
The higher profile means that the ride will be higher, but it is designed this way in order to remove the need for a riser. Like most traditional kingpin skateboard trucks, the Paris street trucks will have a lot of lean. Grab a set of these trucks if you plan on setting up a board with a short wheelbase or if you plan on setting up a board with a kick-tail.
For boards that will be used for street skating or hybrid skating, make sure that the truck width is equal to the width of the board. Unlike downhill skateboards, the wheels should sit under the edge of the board to improve the kick-flip-ability of the board and to give the rider less of a chance of kicking the wheel.
The bushings in this truck do not fit standard reverse kingpin bushings (Venom, Riptide, etc.). Khiro barrel/short cone and barrel/medium cone combinations should work with these trucks.
Paris missed smoothing base plate. it's just an eye sore, will hide with your shock pad. Drop-thru there's no way to hide them.
The Paris Street Truck Family will allow you to take your Combine, Hybrid, Street or Mini to new levels. With a taller profile than standard conventional trucks, risers may not be needed. Bigger Wheels? NO PROBLEM! Now roll easy to those hard to get places with better maneuverability and better turnability. You’ll get a better ride every time. It’s time to make the switch! Available in 108mm, 129mm, 149mm and 169mm.
Using for 36" Doublekick BoardBy Jamin on 2020-11-12 Verified Purchase
I haven't used standard kingpin trucks since 2008 or so. I emailed Scott because I was worried to order the wrong size for a doublekick board, I didn't want to have exposed wheels so I could perform tricks, Scott suggested 2 pairs of trucks, and after seeing the hype of Paris trucks, I decided on these. I'm a 250lb rider and these trucks TURNED out of the box. I ended up ordering some hard bushings for stability, but out of the box, the average sized skater will love the variety these bring. For strictly tricks or larger riders, get some hard bushings. I got Bones Super Hard (96a) bushings.

Bought these for my Bustin Yoface. They feel pretty nice, however the pivot had a little play in the cup when they were new. That seems to be going away as I break them in though.

Very nice trucks. Got them on a Jet Over Kill 36 for commuting, sliding and some park riding, and it's 'guud'!! Elims bs and barrel rs and the nut is 1 thread short. The height is considerable. Running 65mm-ish and still some room for more. I can't compare to other tkp trucks..
