The Venom HPF Caliber Plug Barrel longboard skateboard bushings were created specifically for Caliber trucks. They are designed to remove lateral play from the truck by filling the gaps between the hanger and the kingpin.

Note: "Quantity: 1" is enough for one truck. Buy TWO (2) packs for your complete longboard!

Double Note: Purchasing a Venom HPF Caliber Plug Bushing Pack "w/ Washers" means you're getting two (2) Large Cupped washers and two (2) Flat washer along with your bushings.

Why must I need washers? Because the washer gives the bushing some support. If you were to run flat washers all around (or no washers) then the bushing wouldn't be bouncing back as much as you would hope. A cup on the bottom allows for a nice rebound, while a flat on top allows for a nice lean.

We want to help you choose your bushing for your body weight! So here's a mini cheat sheet to get you started:
50-100 lbs: 73-80a
75-125 lbs: 78-82a
100-145 lbs: 80-85a
125-175 lbs: 80-87a
145-195 lbs: 82-90a
175-220 lbs: 85-93a
200-250 lbs: 90-93a
225 lbs and up: 90-97a

Venom High Performance Formula Longboard Skateboard Bushing Packs are used for downhill, carving, and cruising. If your intention is only carving and cruising, you should consider Venom Standard Bushing Packs or Venom Super Carve Packs. They both make use of a cone style bushing to give you some extra carve!

Venom HPF Barrel bushings are considered the highest quality bushings by experienced downhill riders and Longboard enthusiasts. If you have not tried a Venoms on your Racing board or Cruising longboard, you have not yet felt a rebounding truck. These bushings compress and release to perfect center. Choose your durometer carefully. Don't just purchase the bushing because the color matches your skateboard. You should consider your weight and board shape carefully before ordering your bushings. Had 90/90 double barrels and went to these 93/93 plugs for rear caliber II 44's. I'm about 200 lbs, slides more predictable imo.
Must have for Caliber trucks

I run a short, wide surfy downhill setup. These plug barrels go hard on my set up, keeps the leans extra juicy while in the cut, and bounce back to center on command. I run 90 red plug barrels on my 50 degree front truck, I like it fairly tight but enough rebound if I need to cut the lane quick, I’m 200ish lbs. For the rear I run caliber 44 with a green plug barrel board side and a 87 eliminator on the road side to kill the Parkinson’s shakes. Bottom line, if you run calibers and want to make them instantly better. Buy a couple of sets of bushings for variety and go kill a hill. These bushings keep me stable af.

The combonation of the plug design along with the Venom HPF urethane gives the rider the ultimate control of the ride. I ran a 95/90 barrel combo with flat washers before this (was also 40+lbs fatter) the more weight I loss, the more the ride had a mind of it's own. After dialing it down, bushings and weight, switching to a proper set of venom plugs, I finally regained control of the ride. Also, I used a sleeved washer roadside-forward and a cup roadside-aft. That combo offers just the right amount of rebound, dive, and the most stability, as El Beasto recommended to me. Setup: Clutch Killbilly Speedball KM profile with Caliber II .44cal Tldr; feels l Iike I'm in control again. Board leans and dives nicely, more stable than ever.
