Description

Note: Larger Riders will really enjoy the Rayne Demonseed because of its vertically Laminated bamboo construction, especially if you are looking for a board that is suitable for downhill and if you have a preference for larger wheels!

Looking for a longboard that you can easily push, go fast, and freeride? This is it! The Rayne Demonseed Longboard deck is what you need. This 42" Longboard is 10" wide with a 33" wheelbase. It is a drop-thru longboard with a .75" linear drop which makes it really low, stable, and easier to foot brake. It offers a rocker and deep concave to keep your feet locked in while freeriding.

This longboard deck has it all, whether you like to go fast downhill, freeride, or long-distance pushing, the Rayne Demonseed will make it work for you.

We like a setup with 180mm paris V3 50 Deg Trucks, 80mm Orangatang Kegel or 85mm Caguama, and Muirskate Team Series Beasto bearings. If you prefer to freeride throw some 70mm Orangatang Stimulus wheels and you'll be all set!

Have fun!

Rayne's Description

The Demonseed is a pushing, freeride, sliding machine!!!

For more than a decade, the Demonseed has been revered by downhillers and long-distance pushers for a good reason.

This board was made to longboarding feel easy and look good.

Its double-drop through mounting (drop deck + drop through truck mounting) has a .75” linear drop that drastically lowers the standing platform of the board. This low platform makes pushing a breeze, makes the whole longboard ultra-stable at any speed, and really helps initiate slides.

The Demonseed has a 3 Stage rocker DEEP TUB Concave. The 3 stage rocker makes rotations and slides easier! It provides ergonomics while adding pockets for your feet to grip in slides. The concave has a wide flat center and aggressive cups for your toes and heels. This is the perfect concave for a double-drop deck and will keep your feet in place when sliding and cornering the board. The flat center is really comfortable for pushing the board.

If you want a board for transportation - this board has been pushed across entire countries.

If you want a board to help improve your slides or freeriding - the Demonseed will give you the confidence to bust out rotations and blast slides at faster speeds than you thought possible!

In comparison with other Rayne decks, riders who want to carve harder, have a lighter deck or with more grip, check out the Vendetta as well.

Awesome board

I am so pleased I received my deck Today and assembled it; just cruised up and my street, I amazed, just amazed! Tomorrow I probably put 5 miles on it before work, another 2 during my break. I am a novice just got started for my 60th birthday, back in March. I have set up for mild down hills, cruising, carving, pumping. Gullwing Sidewinder 10”in front ( I know it is designed for downhill and as I grow into those speeds and sliding I will go to a much better set up to utilize all this board can do) and Paris 10” in rear. I put 85 mm Orangutan Caguama 80a wheels. Props to Muir skate, they always take good care!!!

Purchased several of these decks for three different size people. 42" & 39" decks. Great low to the ground feel. I used Caliber ll 50 Trucks with Venom bushing sets. 70mm Stimulus wheels for a slower ride and 75mm Durian for a much faster top speed. Both are stone ground finish. Very happy with the boards and Muirskate for quick delivery and support.

A lot of people worry that this board might be too big for them. I was one of them, but I was surprised that it really wasnt as big I thought it might be. If youre at least 5'10 like me, it will ride nicely. You might have trouble stretching your stance out enough if you're shorter. It's not going to be the snappiest because it is a LONGboard. Its smooth, almost like a snowboard for the road with some slidey wheels! I love that. Make no mistake though, it is super stable and will grip enough with grippy wheels and make you that much more confident.
