Make it a Complete Skateboard

Introducing the new 2020 Landyachtz Obsidian longboard deck designed by Kyle Martin.

There's a lot to take in about this deck, so here you go!

First of all, front and rear foot heelside rails... If you can imagine skating in high heels or cowboy boots then that's essentially what heel side concave achieves, it elevates your heel. An unnatural counterproductive ankle position while riding especially during heelside leaning turns. Front foot toeside does have some concave under your toes. Some people choose to add a little wedge there, it's tuneable. Rearfoot toeside rail is essentially just an exaggerated gas pedal. The same principle applies to your back foot toesides as your heel sides.

In short. The flat almost convex standing platform provides a more natural foot and ankle position and angle while advanced grip tape and foot brake soles provide the board grip that concave was intended for.

Set up the new Landyacthz Obsidian longboard deck with 165mm Paris V3 50° Longboard Trucks, 75mm MUIRSKATE PHAT BOYZ Team Series Podiums wheels and Beasto bearings.

Landyachtz's Description

L: 31" | W: 9" | WB: 22.5-23"

Designed by team rider Kyle Martin to inspire confidence in wheel to wheel racing and deliver massive amounts of grip in the corners, the Obsidian has a bigger platform than the Small Blind for a smoother, more stable ride. It also features our new “Non-cave", a radical design solution that gives you a flat surface at your pressure points to stop you from over leveraging your trucks in hard turns. Get one under your feet today and see what you’ve been missing out on.

Feels like a top mounted 925 with a shorter wheelbase im using paris 150s with a 50 baseplate for the front 43 rear, 72mm powell peralta downhill wheels no wheelbite no risers are needed with the right bushing still turns nice very nimble but stable great all around board
