Make it a Complete Skateboard

The Eastside Blazer V2 longboard skateboard is a simple shred sled.
40" long by 10" wide with a 30.5" wheelbase, The Blazer is a sick symmetrical double drop dh/freeride board!

1/2" concave mixed with the 5/8" drop give a beautiful locked in feel while slippin sideways or grippin a corner at 40mph! Great for beginners learning everything A-Z or experienced riders looking for a low slung drifty board.

We recommend the Blazer with Paris trucks and Orangatang stimulus wheels for a perfect all around set up.

Eastside's Description

Eastside’s second version of the popular Blazer Drop-Down board featuring a 5/8″ dropped platform. This creates a lower riding platform for more stability and nice wedged pockets to lock your feet into. This symmetrical shape with a lot of standing platform (26″) is made for medium to larger riders with a wider stance. It can hold heavier riders without flex and labeled our big and tall board! And it can do it all: freeride, downhill, and pushing distance. The radial concave is perfect for everything and comfortable for LDP.

The Blazer is available in both Drop-Through or Top-Mount. We suggest Drop-Through for newer riders wanting an easy to learn on board that’s easy to push and slide, also really stable downhill. We suggest Top-Mount for heavier riders over 225 pounds and/or for faster freeriding and downhill by giving you more grip and leverage over the wheels. New updates for the Blazer V2 are a streamlined shape with a bit more concave. Also improved wheel cutouts for bigger wheels and flipped offset wheels up to 80mm with no wheelbite.

really stiff

I am pretty new to longboarding but this is my third board. I really love how stiff it is with the slight drop down for my feet to push up against while trying to do slides. I bought this as a complete and i could only do coleman slides before i got this. The day it came in I was carving around my favorite parking lot and decided to try stand up heelside 180 slide. within 20 of trying I pulled my first one, I was so excited! Also, I ordered this board and Scott at muir emailed me and told me he would make sure to build it and ship it that day. Sure enough a few hours later I got the email and it was sent. Great service and board :)

I've had my Blazer for over a year now its taken a beating and still ticking nicely...have had it setup with Paris 50 degree trucks the whole time but have tried lots of wheels including 76mm flywheels and Otang 80mm Kegels for long distance pushing. And Otang Durians, Rad Release, and Liam Morgans for sliding. All great matches for this board. I bought the board for pushing with the nice micro drop with drop-thru, it's really stable to push but can turn nicely too. I ended up learning to slide on it too, way easier than I thought with this board because it has the side edges that let your feet push the board out. BTW I almost got the top-mount version, this one is the same price but with the added drop-thru, you can top-mount this one too if you want. I did that once for more stable downhill. Also not shown in the photo here is the added wheel-wells mine came with making it clear the biggest of wheels like the Kegels.

I've had my Blazer for over a year now and its so solid and easy to ride. I love the small drop to push my feet against, feels perfect! It's a pretty low board with 70mm wheels but I still don't scratch the ground because its so stiff and not too low like some of my friends boards. I push to school on it and back everyday here in Florida and it makes my life so much easier getting around without a car. Eastside is rad, you won't regret it!
