If you need a bite, grab yourself some POKE!
Evolving from the Loaded Fish and the Ceviche, this rad little ripper will take you anywhere. With features like a fully functional kicktail, a mini nose, subtle rocker and wheel flares, this lightweight bamboo composite board will get you shredding.
Quick and nimble, you'll be pumping between classes or commuting across town in no time.
Set this board up with some Paris 150s and some Orangatang Stimulus wheels and your belly with surely be full.
Length: 34” / 86 cm
Width: 9.125” / 23.18 cm
Wheelbase: 20.75” / 52.71 cm
Tail: 7.625” / 19.37 cm (tip to inner bolt) @ 18°
Nose: 5.625” / 14.29 cm (tip to inner bolt) @ 13°
Concave: 0.5” / 1.3 cm (radial)

Weight: 2.8 lbs / 1.3 kg (deck only)
Continuing the legacy of the Fish and Ceviche, the Poke is the newest performance-driven stage of a pescatarian culinary tradition. Featuring highly functional kicktails and a comfortable platform with concave, rocker, and wheel well flares, this compact and versatile thrasher / city commuter will take you all over town hunting for driveways, banks and garages.
0.1″ of rocker in the Poke’s standing platform complements the subtle flex of the board and allows you to sink into a comfortable hammock-like interface for both leisurely and aggressive riding. The rocker helps freestyle tricks feel more natural and also creates a solid platform for pushing and commuting.
WHEEL WELL FLARES
Slight concave flares on either end of the standing platform provide tactile reference for your feet, allow for increased width without wheelbite, and lock you in for quick maneuvers with a high level of board awareness. Additionally, these complex contours enhance the torsional stiffness of the deck and promote better stability and control.
The Poke features 0.5″ of radial concave for solid and quick transitions from rail to rail while pumping, carving, and slashing. Aggressive enough for spirited performance riding yet comfortable enough for the casual commute or boogie through town.
The Poke sports an ample tail for assertive surf-style slashing and plenty of freestyle trickery. The kick angle has been designed to facilitate a snappy and functional pop.
Solid for stable carving, soft enough for comfort and crisp for pop, the Poke’s bamboo and fiberglass construction is light and durable.
The Poke is built with a vertically laminated bamboo core with triaxial fiberglass top and bottom skins and a bamboo base veneer. This construction allows for a strong, lightweight deck with responsive flex.
As this board is intended to spend plenty of time both under the feet and in the hands of longboarding freestylers and commuters, we decided to take this opportunity to experiment with new textural characteristics on the deck. The bottom bamboo veneer is sealed under a thin layer of hydrogenated bee pollen cured in a honeycomb pattern that lends a unique tactile quality to the Poke and can fight allergies. Conceptually, this is also a subtle allusion to fish scales and the Poke’s chordate lineage.
The Poke’s graphic was designed by Tomás Guereña, a.k.a. Screw (www.screw.mx). Conceptually, the seafaring creatures illustrated represent lively organic chaos. The fish continues to embody the fluid, whimsical, and dynamic riding style we love to embrace on this board. And like a happy school of fish (or a big bowl of poke), this board is all about sharing in the experience and riding together with your closest companions.
The griptape pattern is cut with an aqueous pattern to subliminally instill an unhealthy obsession with the sea in the mind of the rider, thereby inspiring a surfy and fluid riding style.
We recommend 80a (orange) Orangatang 4President race/slalom wheels in conjunction with the Carver CX/C2 combo to ensure maximum traction and energy in hard carving and pumping.
The tried and true 50° reverse kingpin geometry of the Paris 150mm truck lends itself to a wide variety of styles including freestyle, pumping, and slashy freeride. Tweakable through bushing and washer setups, the Paris always deliver a lively yet linear turning response that encourages versatility and accommodates speed more readily than the Carvers.
The Paris 150s are more inviting to an assortment of wheel styles. We suggest 4Presidents for a grippy and pumpy setup, Stimulus for a slash-friendly balance of traction and drift, and Fat Frees for weight reduction in trick-heavy freestyle riding.
Other Truck/Wheel Options
As always, we encourage exploration and have found that this deck works well with, for example, Paris 180s and Morongas, Tracker RTS/RTX with high-rebound bushings and Fat Frees, or Indys with an assortment of wheel styles.
It’s a great deckBy Up on 2021-08-22 Verified Purchase
It’s a great deck, light weight, nice size, good grip and great concaved wonderdul overall. The first time i ride it was a bit of struggle because i was used to powell peralta old school deck but after a few hours i got the hang to it. You could do some slide to it i did put in on my waterborne surf adaptor and it works fine a lot of good carves too
Most Favored Deck By FarBy Anthony Maltais on 2021-08-11
Out of the countless boards ive tested, the Loaded Poke comes out on top. I have yet to find another board that can compete. It handles just about anything you throw at it (minus DH riding), and it is the first board i go to for any riding occasion. If you’re looking for a do-it-all board, This is the board for you Current Setup: 165mm Paris Savants 66mm Powell Snakes/Otang Stimulus Zealous Ceramics Venom Double Barrels
Top Tier, Versatile BoardBy M on 2021-02-16
SUMMARY Buy this board if you want a versatile, perfectly-built board that can be used at a high level in multiple disciplines! It's notably light, strong, agile, super carvy, and extremely fun. Great for cruising, slashing around, freestyle, sliding, pumping, maybe even surfskating. One of my absolutely favorite boards and Loaded's best, for my needs anyway. CONTEXT Setup: 150mm Paris V3 trucks for cruising, carving, and slashing; Carver's CX.4/C2.4 trucks for pumping and next-level carving Rider: 5'10, 155 lbs Loaded: I also own or have owned a Dervish Sama & Omakase. I've spent a lot of time on the Basalt Tesseract and Vanguard. The Poke is my favorite Loaded board by far and one of the best, most under-recognized boards in general, imo. Cruising and Carving: Amazing ride! The Poke is so light, it's almost hard to describe. Agile, world-class handling, probably the carviest board I've ridden. The concave gives great control over the trucks and makes it easy to hit corners. The tail has real pop and can handle curbs better than most cruisers I've been on. So carvy and fun, it has a certain vibe to it. Great for tight cityscapes or longer, chill rides in nature or on trails. Freestyle: This is the board I learned basic tricks on. Ollies, flips, manuals, even dance moves: all possible here. My only complaint is that I hate to put any scratches on this beauty. Sliding/freeriding: So easy to slide and drift on, and just as easy to hit tight corners with the right wheels. The concave helps control slides as well. It's not the board I'd take down any hills, though. It's just not made for that. Pumping: The Poke is a great shorter-distance pumper if set up on Carver trucks (or something similar). It's not built for LDP (though it could be used for that) because of the concave and shape, but it can go under 5 miles without needing to push in the right environment with Carvers on it. CONCLUSION When I want to hit the town and have fun in multiple terrains, I grab the Poke first. A truly special board that deserves more recognition and praise. Highly recommended!
