While the Roxanne has been dramatically updated in size and shape for 2012, the older 2011 version is still readily available to those in need of the old school flavor.
You are probably going to want to turn off that red light now that Sector 9 has released the large and in-charge Roxanne! This 2011 version of this Top Mount Longboard Skateboard Model is the largest of the Downhill Division Longboard Series measuring in at a nice 42.5" long with an adjustable wheelbase at either 30.75" or 31.75".
The 2012 version (shown with the Red/Yellow graphic) measures in at 37.5" in length with adjustable wheelbase lengths from 26.75" to 29.5".
Despite the larger frame, Roxanne remains a natural beauty constructed from strong Canadian Maple. Worried about some wheelbite? Don't be. Roxanne has some beautifully crafted wheel wells to help avoid the issue as well as leave you with enough room to swiftly dodge the dogs and potholes when necessary.
For a good time, call your favorite truck and wheel combo to the party. If you're a slasher or aggressive carver type, grab some 10" Gullwing Charger Longboard Trucks and some 69mm Sector 9 Race Formula Slalom Downhill Longboard Wheels in your choice of durometer. If you're more of a "power-move" kind of guy or gal, grab some Gullwing Stalker Downhill Trucks and some 74mm Sector 9 Downhill Longboard Wheels.
The Sector 9 Downhill Division Longboard Series is produced in limited quantities. These boards are designed for the serious downhill rider and not for skating to and from class. For that reason, you won't find these boards anywhere in a facility that also houses a food court and/or movie theatre...
