Let's give a warm round of applause to one of the newest additions to the MuirSkate.com lineup! Brought over to us from the Sector 9 Downhill Division longboard series is the one and only Annika! Brought to America by the talented Erik Lundberg, Annika a.k.a. "The Swedish Torpedo" is a very shapely work of art. Annika is not only equipped with a nice, wide-waisted figure — Upon closer inspection, one will notice a bit of "double concave" running down Annika's back. This style of concave will help you keep solid footing and makes it easy to bring Sector 9's Annika along to some of the most treacherous downhill terrain. Due to an adjustable wheelbase, Annika will be a comfortable companion for most riders. Annika's mounting pattern can easily be set for a 31.6", 32.1", 32.6", and 33.1" wheelbase. As a top-mount model, Annika turns tricks and drifts like nobody's business thanks to an insane amount of leverage against the forces of gravity and nature. And don't worry, since Annika's got a set of decently sized wheel wells, it's very unlikely you'll experience any bites... As long as you don't get overly aggressive, Annika will be the ride of your dreams!
If you're a bit squeemish and would prefer an easier ride, pair Annika up with a set of 10" Gullwing Charger trucks and some slalom-style (sharp-lipped) 69mm Sector 9 Longboard Wheels.
If you're a go-getter and are looking for a wild and crazy ride, get a set of the 180mm Randal R-II Downhill Longboard Trucks with a 42° Baseplate and some 72mm Cult Gamma Ray Downhill Longboard Wheels.
The Sector 9 Downhill Division Longboard Series is produced in limited quantities. These boards are designed for the serious downhill rider and not for skating to and from class. For that reason, you won't find these boards anywhere in a facility that also houses a food court and/or movie theatre...
