Bronson Speed Co's Description

• Straight Edge Frictionless Shields- pop off resistant - holds oil in, dirt and moisture out- easy to clean
• Micro Groove Raceway Surfaces- linear micro-groove surfaces improve bearing lubrication, speed and spin
• Max Impact Cage Design- non- distortion custom cage keeps the balls precision spaced & oil circulating
• Balls Out Technology- eliminates shield and cage contact on impact for a go fast, stay fast bearing
• High Speed Ceramic Oil- nano-ceramic compounds for wear protection - moisture, rust, corrosion resistant
• Factory Fresh Quality- nitrogen filled shrink wrap, reduces metal & oil oxidation until ready to be ridden
There is no "ABEC rating" for Bronson as an ABEC tolerance rating is basically meaningless when it comes to skateboard bearings.
You don't want to talk about an ABEC rating, what you want to talk about is "looseness".
Bronson's are designed with a certain amount of intentional and specific looseness in the bearing design. When developing Bronson G3's, we analyzed all bearings in the market, and found the fastest bearings had a certain amount of radial play "looseness".
We took this idea of designed in looseness and improved upon it. We created the G3 bearing with an increased level of looseness and matched that with "Deep Groove Raceways" and added "Micro-Groove Raceway" surfaces.
We also created a "High Speed Ceramic Oil" blend with a lubrication enhancing "Max Impact Cage Design", added "Straight Edge Frictionless Shields" on both sides and our "Balls Out Technology".
We found that matching these unique product features with a higher amount of designed in looseness resulted in a super-fast, long spin bearing right from the start, right out of the package.
Our bearings are designed loose, but with controlled "Factory Fresh Quality" manufacturing processes to be consistently produced within a specific range of looseness.
And that allows Bronson Bearing's to spin a long time, go fast, and stay fast.

Faster than Powell Swiss SixBy GDF on 2019-01-26
Roll longer, built tougher, Accel fast like Swiss six but roll longer. These and RAWS are a solid buy.

Wicked FastBy Tmarion11 on 2016-09-16 Verified Purchase
Thought I would give these a try. WOW! These are sick fact. I can tell a major difference between these and my spaceballs, and bones bearings. Will be sticking with these from now on.
Overpriced - No Better than Reds or RADs or ZealousBy blargh on 2016-07-02 Verified Purchase
I had been using "RAD Drive "Full Spacer" longboard Skateboard Bearings" for awhile now, and know exactly how far they roll. After I go down one hill, I go up another and roll to a stop, and it's always next to the same brick sign. So, after I switched to the Bronson bearings I went down and and up the same hills, and I rolled to a stop at the exact same brick sign, within a foot. They are no better than the RAD ones or Reds or Zealous for that matter. So far, I've tried, Reds, RAD, Zealous and now these Bronson's. Reds rolls the farthest and they are the cheapest. If you want built in spacers I like the RAD ones.
Smooth durable bearingBy SkateJake on 2016-03-14
Definitely a step up from bones reds and since they come with all the hardware, they are better than Bones downhill in my opinion. They clean well and are built like a tank.
