Designed by Earthwing, the Double Trouble longboard skateboard deck is prime for all around downhill and free-ride styles of skating. Offering a micro-drop radial-concave with drop mounting this board keeps you super low to the ground allowing for easy slides and extra stability. Take this baby to your local hill and experience it's innovation. Perfect for learning stand-ups, beginning downhill, or pushing around town.
Note: Since this is a double-drop deck there is a higher probability of wheel bite. For that reason, please select 50 degree trucks, side set wheels, and thin riser pads (such as .06). We recommend Bear 852s or Paris Trucks with Abec 11 Flashback longboard skateboard wheels. Now get in Double Trouble and ride this Earthwing!
The Double Trouble is a new deck in the Earthwing line. The mold is .625" dropped, with droupthrough mounting. It's a versatile comfy, classic elyptical concave. We cut all the extra meat off of the tips to condense the length down as far as possible. What's left is one giant useable platform. This deck is super stable, great for beginners, all the way up to the pros. You can take it to the hills to race or slide, or take it across the country on long hauls.
We're a bunch of San Diego skaters in a warehouse, assembling your longboards by hand, making sure you get the best ride under your feet. Yes, we need to pay the rent, but we're in this to spread the stoke of skating as far and wide as we can.
Founded back in 2005, Muir Skate started out as a 400 sqft shop at UCSD's John Muir College. Now located in a 7,000 sqft warehouse, just 10 minutes away from our birthplace, Muir Skate sells high quality longboard skateboard gear and sets the bar for best customer service. And we pronounce it "me-ew-er".
