Got your cereal? Great! Lets dive into the Gravity Spoon Nose longboard skateboard. This fork nose, I mean Spoon Nose comes in at 42" long and 9" wide. What does all this mumbo jumbo mean? It means that this board is long enough to mess around on hills and carve it up, but still agile enough to ride the bowls. Gravity seems to make a lot of their boards for the bowls and hills, and well... this board delivers to that statement. The functional nose and kick tail allows this board to be used pretty much anywhere; around on hills, in the bowls, on the sidewalks, streets, you name it.
On the Gravity Spoon Nose longboard skateboard, we recommend setting it up with Randal's for carving and Independent's for the bowls. If you are a mix of skating disciplines then we recommend you choose the truck that fits what you do the most. As for wheels, we recommend Retro Bigzig's, zigzag's, Orangatang Inheats, or 4presidents if you want to carve. For bowls and the park we recommend the Abec 11 NOskoolZ.
This board has been in the making for quite some time. We here at Gravity feel that our customers deserve more than just a standard bamboo board imported from China. Our California Made bamboo is infused with cross/long ply maple to give it the torsional strength that all bamboo boards lack, but benefits from top and bottom bamboo plies that give it better rebound and longitudinal strength. We think that you'll find this board to be the perfect blend, and it's shape is ideal for a blended skate style. Short enough to play around in parks, long enough to cruise and hit some hills.
