they are the best bearings, fastest, and all that. They maintain their speed longer than any bearing i used before. Acceleration is better than the rest too but not by a whole lot. Their just flat out not worth the $140 price tag they come with. Dont get me wrong, i love them and will probably get another pair when mine get too old, but $140? i'd say their worth $80, i think thats a fair price, right?
you feel like yours riding on a cloud
awsome, rusted up, but i fixed it
To keep these running at their best remember to perform maintainance, clean and lube every 2 - 3 months of riding.
Depending on how much you ride... clean these bearings at least once a month, or once every 2 months... and they will treat you well in return.
Ok, these bearings i feel are worth the money. They last forever and with the labyrinth shields nothing gets in them. You cant really tell that they go faster and accelerate fast unless u really get up at fast speeds. Also, i feel its more for the durability and practicality. I had Rock'n Ron's Ceramics and every time i skated crap would get in em. I hav had these for 8 months and hav never needed to open them for anything. They last a LONG time, and dont really notice speeds unless you get up there. So i dont thnk u need to buy if you do park skating.
Sure Bones ceramics are expensivebut if you have been skating and as long and as often as I have they are worth it. I have had countless sets of cheap bearings and they have all turned to toast. My set of bones ceramics are noticeably faster than regular swiss bearing andthey last alot longer. So all you whiners thatare too cheap to cough up the cash or just don't know any better should shut up
Bones Ceramic bearings in 8 pack. Regular 608 bearings. The new ceramic bearing is similar to the original Bones Ceramic bearing, but with a redesigned inner race and two new labyrinth shields to keep dirt out even better than before. Bones Labyrinth shields are non-contact, so they do not increase friction, only the distance dirt particles must travel to get past the shields. The only difference you will notice is that the Bones Ceramic labyrinth shield will last several times as long as the original Bones between cleanings. This significant increase in service life comes at a very small increase in retail cost, so the value is greatly increased.Bones Swiss Ceramics are the fastest skate bearings you can buy. A winning combination of precision ground and polished Swiss bearing races, glass fiber reinforced Nylon high speed ball retainer, Cerbec silicon nitride ceramic balls, Speed Cream low viscosity synthetic bearing lubricant, and a non-contact gray rubber shield. Ceramic balls are non-corrosive, reduce weight, last longer, accelerate faster and roll smoother, with less friction than polished steel ball bearings, giving you the absolute fastest, longest lasting skate bearings available at a break through price (for ceramics). If you need the very best, this is it
Bones Swiss Ceramics are in a class by themselves. If you want the best skateboard bearing there is, this is it. The Cerbec Ceramic balls are much lighter, harder, stronger, waterproof, and longer lasting than the finest steel balls.
